Latest evidence

A team of the school played in the collège final of the Créteil academy phase of the French Chess Federation's school team championships in two seasons, on 16 March 2025 and on 1 April 2026, as the federation's calendar pages date its games. The team is printed as La Courneuve - Jean Vilar in both seasons. The calendar pages are the only chess trace; no page of the school about chess was opened, so the entry stays unconfirmed. The finals are played at a host venue, not at the school; the card records the school's team, not a session open to visitors. Placed in La Courneuve by the town printed in the team name.
